"From Gethsemone to Calvary, was it really for me that He died?
Yes the spirit whispers these words bring me truth, from the Garden to the Cross, He walked a mile in my shoes".

Luke 22: 42-44
2 Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.
43 And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him.
44 And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground.
This was a very memorable site to visit. Inside the Garden there are 8 beautiful trees and a stone path spelling out "Peace".
I thought about this message and how much peace I have been given through the atonement of Jesus Christ. I have always believed in the atonement, but I've never really pondered on how appreciative I am for all of the pain Christ endured for me. This life is about moving forward and improving our lives/striving to be more like Christ. Knowing this message has helped me so much through all my trials, frustrations, weaknesses, and imperfections I go through. I can't even imagine the pain He felt as He was praying in the Garden. I'm just so appreciative to have someone so relateable for me to turn to every day.
It's not the visiting of these sites that have given me spiritual experiences, but the way I have deeply studied my scriptures while being here. I love reading real life scenarios in the scriptures and then looking out my balcony at the beautiful landscape of Jerusalem and picturing where these events took place. This was the best decision I have made to come to the Jerusalem Center. I'm learning so much every moment of the day.

love you all!
