Hello to all-
I know i haven't been the best at blogging for the past... two months. I plan to catch up really soon. Promise ;) But today I just want to express a post of my love for my family. Today is MOTHER'S DAY and I'm extrememly humbled by my Mother's example of kindness, patience, and unconditional love. Today, my parents are in Nicaragua, and I'm babysitting these two silly children.

Yes, they're super silly, BUSY, adventurous kiddos but its really opened my eyes to all my mother did to raise us children. I love her so. She's just the greatest and I'm so thankful for her. :)
Love you so much mom!!!!

I also got to talk to my brother via skype!!!!! He's serving in the Cordoba, Argentina mission as AP and gets to take Elder Uchdorf and Elder Christoferson through the new temple for the dedication. He is such a great example of working hard and loving everyone he encounters. I can't wait to see all the adventures he makes happen after the mission. Seems like yesterday we dropped him off at the airport, it goes so fast!!!! He finishes in July and I leave August 26th.

I am grateful for families. I am grateful for mothers and all the unnoticed work they do in the home. I am grateful for the greatest Mother of this Earth who raised the Son of God. I love reading about the Virgin Mary and birthstory in Bethelehem. It has a whole new meaning since I have now been to Bethelehem.

I can't wait to be a mother someday, and love preparing each and every day. The older I get, the more I appreciate all Mother's do for the world. I love you Mom! Happy Mother's Day!
XOXO, alyson
