Jordan continued

After Jerash we went back to our hotel in Ammon and had three hours to do whatever we wanted. Jen, Kyle, Mckenzi and I ate dinner realllly quick and called a taxi to go to the mall. All the sites after dark in Ammon involve a bar so most everyone went to the city mall. We found a salon and got a pedicure for ten american dollars! It was such a fun experience talking to the Arabic women and I really learned a lot from them. They were just so nice! Here are a couple pictures of our fun spa experience :)

The next morning we woke up really early and had breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast we all loaded the buses and drove to the church branch in Ammon. What a cool experience! The service couple was so nice. We toured the building, got to see where apostles/prophets stay when they come visit, and sang a song in Hebrew.

River Jordan

I know that our Savior set the perfect example for us by being baptized. What an incredible blessing to go to the River Jordan!

"Know ye not that he was holy? But notwithstanding he being holy, he showeth unto the children of men that, according to the flesh he humbleth himself before the Father, and witnesseth unto the Father that he would be obedient unto him in keeping his commandments." (2 Nephi 31:7).
