SERVICE: is a wonderful thing :) It always puts me in the best mood. Today we assembled over 750 humanitarian kits. I was in charge of taping the boxes shut, so I had a pretty important job. My knuckles are bruised and some bloody, but it was really fun! We had a friendly competition between two teams and our team ended up losing by 5 boxes. Each humanitarian kit contains: 4 toothbrushes, 2 bars of soap, toothpaste, 2 towels. Each box contains: 5 kits.

Really fun afternoon! Later tonight we're watching a Jewish documentary and then I will be working on finishing up the Old Testament (we start New testament next week!!), reading a book for EC in Judaism, and writing a paper for Old Testament. Lots of work to do, but after next week 4/6 of my classes will be done!!!

Hope everyone stays warm in the US ;) Kind of funny becuase we have plans to go snorkling in Eilat on Sunday (basically the Sinai Peninsula) and the plans are still on. The predicted weather is in the 70's. I'm so excited!!

XOXO, alyson :)
