Finals are almost over.. and this is how I feel about it.

Today is PURIM. A jewish holiday dedicated to celebrating Esther saving the Jews. Everyone in town dresses up in costumes. :)

The second our last final was over, we headed to The Great Synogogue in West Jerusalem for synagogue/reading of Esther. (Its tradition everyone brings loud noisemakers to shake whenever "Hamen" is read.) It was the best experience :)

and right when the service is about to start..... S U R P R I S E!!!

Prime Minister Benhamin Netanyahu came for THIS SERVICE OF PURIM. No one in the whole city knew he was coming, so we were so lucky to be apart of it! I was wondering why we went through so much security ;) We got to hear him speak (In hebrew) and he talked about his experience last week in Washington DC before the US congress.

WHAT AN EXPERIENCE!!!!!!

After an hour at the synagogue, we went to a super rad hebrew dance party in West Jerusalem. It is tradition for EVERYONE to get super drunk the night of purim.. even our dinner hostess was out of his mind. It was really sad to see tons of teenagers at the dance party just so crazy.. but it really is the norm on the night of Purim.

MISSION PAPERS WERE SUBMITTED THIS MORNING. should get my call in the next three weeks and plan to open it in the Garden of Gethsemone. Start guessing! ;) #sistercaten
