I loved the peace and spirit I felt as we sailed across the Sea of Galilee yesterday for our Field Study. We are within the exact month (March) where we experience heavy winds from the East desert . Every night I get up to close my door at least 2 times becuase the winds blow it wide open.

I couldn't sleep the other night and went outside to the beach to read my scriptures. The winds were blowing so fast and I got so scared. It really put things in perspective of how dangerous and scary this experienece would have been for the apostles. The lake is pitch black at night and the waves can get up to 5 or 6 feet. I'll always remember that experience.

I love to read my scriptures by the sea every morning. I have loved visiting the exact sites where these bible stories took place and to really analyze the scriptures in context.
